Hallo and welcome.

Over the last few years modern facial plastic surgery has become increasingly important in society and it is much more accepted today.

Confidence in the surgeon plays a major role here. Comprehensive guidance and intensive interviews are important to us and are an essential re-requisite for successful plastic surgery. Both the patient and the surgeon can illustrate what they mean through the use of our image processing software programmes.

The focus in plastic surgery is in nose and eye-lid surgery, surgery of the auricle (outer ear), tumour surgery of the skin and facial soft parts and cosmetic facial  surgery.

Regards,

Dr. med. Bernhard Robbers

About Us

Over the last 30 years or more the ENT Clinic at the Dominikus Hospital has acquired a local and national reputation with its activities in plastic reconstructive surgery of the head and throat.

Today the ENT Department works with more than 250 registered ENT specialists and carries out some 4,300 operations on in-patients and out-patients alike every year. The foundation stone of these activities was laid by its medical founders Professor Dr. F. Strupp and Professor Dr. W. Messingschlager when these gentlemen passed on their priceless "know-how" to today's medical team.

The clinic has the latest equipment such as surgical microscopes, micro-surgical instruments, endoscopic equipment for minimal-invasive operations, laser therapy units (dual-pulse lasers, diode lasers etc.)

Microsurgery techniques and endoscopic surgical procedures make it possible to perform surgery that is gentle on the body tissues, even in major operations.
Through the use of training courses and further specialisation we are always concerned to be up with the latest practices and offer our patients the best possible therapy.
An additional factor that contributes to the patient's well-being and recovery is the hospital's location directly on the banks of the Rhine. The hospital is easy to reach by car.
